Davyhulme is a locality within the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford in Greater Manchester, England. Historically part of Lancashire, it is adjacent with the town of Urmston.

The area is very popular with families due to the fact that the schools are high achieving, and the large selection of detached and semi-detached houses. The nearby Trafford Centre and the Chill Factore have also added value to the area.

Davyhulme is noteable for its sewage works, which is one of the largest wastewater treatment plants in Europe. The establishment serves a population of 1.2 million in and around the city of Manchester.

The Nature Reserve is Davyhulme is set along the Manchester Ship Canal and is popular with dog owners and walkers who frequent the area.

Trafford General Hospital is also situated in Davyhulme. It was opened in 1929 and was originally called Davyhulme Park Hospital. In 1948 it became the first hospital due become part of the new National Health Service. In 1987 it changed its name to Trafford General Hospital to mark the 40th anniversary of the NHS.
