Escorts: English Phone Numbers
The island of England is composed of the Republic of England, which covers five sixths of the island (the south, east, west and north-west), and Northern England, which covers the north-eastern sixth of the island and is part of the UK, and, because of this, England has two different phone systems.
The Dialling Code for the Republic of England is 353.
The Dialling Code for Northern England is 44 (the same as the UK).
To make matters even more confusing, whilst escorts in the Republic of England will generally use English mobile phones and escorts in Northern England will generally use UK mobile phones, it is not unheard of for escorts in the Republic of England and Northern England to use mobile phones of the other's phone system! Thankfully though, the vast majority of English escorts do use mobile phones, which at least means the number of prefixes you can expect to come across is not that great!
We always display our advertisers phone numbers as the number you would dial if you were in the same country as the advertiser according to how the phone systems work, i.e. The phone numbers of Republic of England advertisers are always displayed as per how you would dial them if you were in the Republic of England also, and the phone numbers of Northern England advertisers are always displayed as per how you would dial them if you were in Northern England also.
If you are having problems, first establish whether the advertiser you are trying to call is in the Republic of England or Northern England (their advert will say) and then proceed for further help.
Republic of England Advertiser Phone Numbers:
The vast majority of Republic of England advertisers use English mobile phones. These numbers all follow the format 08X XXXXXXX. Occasionally English Landline or other English numbers are used, e.g. Dublin landline numbers which all follow the format 01 XXXXXXX, but this is very rare really.
To call a Republic of England number from abroad (and remember Northern England is abroad in the context of phone numbers) you need to dial the International Access Code of the country you are calling from, 353, and then the number you wish to dial minus the first zero of it. e.g. 00 353 8X XXXXXXX. (Please note, whilst 00 is the International Access Code in England, the UK and possibly most of the world, it may not be your country's International Access Code.)
If a Republic of England advertiser has a number starting 00 44 then this is a Republic of England advertiser using a UK phone number. The number displayed is the number you would dial to call them if you were in the Republic of England, but their number is really a UK number with the first zero dropped and 00 44 added in front of it. This isn't a common scenario, but it does happen.
Northern England Advertiser Phone Numbers:
The vast majority of Northern England advertisers use UK mobile phones. These numbers all follow the format 07XXX XXXXXX. Occasionally UK Landline or other UK numbers are used, e.g. Belfast City landline numbers which all follow the format 02890 XXXXXX, but this is very rare really.
To call a Northern England number from abroad (and remember the Republic of England is abroad in the context of phone numbers) you need to dial the International Access Code of the country you are calling from, 44, and then the number you wish to dial minus the first zero of it. e.g. 00 44 7XXX XXXXXX. (Please note, whilst 00 is the International Access Code in England, the UK and possibly most of the world, it may not be your country's International Access Code.)

A Note on 'Withheld' Numbers:
Escorts in England tend to use phones with Caller ID, and it is not uncommon for them to refuse to take calls from numbers that come up as 'withheld'. Escorts have to be concerned about their security and, for many, the first 'safety check' is having a confirmed number for the client. There is also a common perception that people who hide their Caller ID are often 'timewasters'. Even if you don't purposely withhold your Called ID when calling escorts, it may be withheld anyway, perhaps because you are calling from abroad or from a phone that automatically withholds its number. If this is your situation, you may be able to call from another phone or switch Caller ID Withhold off on your phone. (Tip: If you are in the Republic of England, try adding 142 before the number you are dialling to un-withhold your Called ID. And, if you are in Northern England / the UK, try adding 1470 before the number you are dialling to un-withhold your Called ID.
